So I signed up for Medium a while back and posted a few articles and then forgot about it. Then I started getting weekly emails and somehow virtually every one included an article from Ezinne Ukoha. I never followed her or anything so I have no idea why this is happening, but good God, this lady is a piece of work. And I can't say I'm particularly optimistic about the future if this is the kind of the rhetoric coming out of the Left. Although many of them are just nonsense. A sampling of her articles:
"Why Barbara Bush's Death Shouldn't Erase Her History of Gross Entitlement" "An Open Letter to the White Woman Who Willfully Got Two Black Men Arrested" "Dear White People Your Privilege is Killing Us" "How the Kardashians Keep Getting Away With Villainizing Black Men" "Dear Colonizers, Return the Goods You Stole Because It's the Right Thing To Do" (I don't think she's talking about the Ottoman Empire, by the way) "Why Iggy Azalea's Privilege to Be 'Black" Needs to Be Permanently Revoked" Hahaha, that last one... Here's how she describes Azealia Banks, "Black male producers who help foster talent in an industry that demands a certain aesthetic for female rappers who are always ready to do whatever it takes for stardom — have pretty much demonstrated their utter disdain for Banks — as she terrorizes their crippling bias against her — which is fueled by a rebelliousness that is typically associated with Black women who refuse to take any type of shit." Really deep analysis you got there... Banks, by the way, once said Sarah Palin should be gang raped by a bunch of black men. I guess she was being rebellious. Regarding Iggy on the other hand, "it’s almost impossible to ignore the opportunity to examine the varied ways in which White people choose to downplay their privilege — at the expense of the very people they’ve chosen to appropriate." The latest article that popped up first in my feed asks "Where Was The Outrage When Former First Lady Michelle Obama Was Labeled 'Ape in Heels?'" in regards to the whole Michelle Wolf fiasco. But, the comments she was discussing were not made at the White House Correspondent's Dinner but by a former director of the Clay County Development Corp and the article she links to actually discussed the outrage the post inspired; "West Virginia non-profit director, who called Michelle Obama an 'Ape in heels' in racist Facebook post, is fired." That last bit, the bit about being "fired." That's where the outrage was Ezinne. Anyways, there's no point in rebutting this nonsense but it is interesting to me that her posts always appear in my feed despite never having followed her or anything like that. It's almost like Medium is following in Facebook, Google's and Twitter's footsteps by being another massive tech company trying to ram leftwing politics down our throats.
